February Tour of Northern Peru

This trip will be 10 days in Northern Peru through Trujillo, Chiclayo and Cajamarca.  Cajamarca is rich in Archaeological sites such as the Inca Baths, an Incan cemetery, and Carnival, which is a small town version of Rio's famous Carnival. Cajamarca is Cusco before the arrival of the tourist boom.

Another highlight of the trip will be the balmy summer weather on the coast of Peru while staying at picturesque hotels on the Pacific Ocean. Bring your swimsuits and shorts. There will be free time to enjoy lounging around or visiting the small towns and markets. Other places we will visit is Trujillo, Chan Chan, the largest mud ruins in the world, La Huaca, The Luna Temples and breeders of El Milagro Cooperative.

From Trujillo we will travel to Pacasmayo were we will visit Paijan, El Brujo Ruins and Breeders, Anibal and Lucho Vasquez owners of Sol De Paijan plus many other National Champions.

Bullfight in Paijan

On our way from Pacasmayo to Chiclayo, we will visit Breeders Samuel Gleiser and Jimmy Sneider. Pimentel Beach, horse ride from Zaña to Señor of Sipan tomb, Brunning Museum and Señor of Sipan.

For the die hard horseback riders there will be 3 to 4 hours a day in the saddle traveling through the Peruvian country side on naturally gaited Peruvian Horses, with time off for traveling by bus to the next adventure or visiting the local sites of interest.
